Chuncheon film fest to screen Iran’s ‘Lenz’

Iranian short film ‘Lenz’ is to be screened at the Chuncheon Film Festival (CCFF) in South Korea.

Iranian short film ‘Lenz’ has made its way to the Chuncheon Film Festival (CCFF) in South Korea.

The Iranian Youth Cinema Society reported on Tuesday that ‘Lenz’ will be screened at the 8th edition of CCFF.

Written and directed by Amir Hossein Tabbat, the film is about a man who intends to commit suicide, but a video camera and photography change his fate.

‘Lenz’ grabbed the Best Editing award at the 7th CinéStudent Film Festival in the US.

Chuncheon Film Festival (CCFF) focuses on independent safe and futuristic (SF) films.

According to an online submission platform, CCFF is a film festival for Chuncheon citizens, cinephiles, and filmmakers who make independent SF films.

CCFF wants to “discover the values of making a safer future in the movie. Therefore, CCFF is prepared two kinds of programs, SF and Children&Youth”.

The 8th edition of CCFF will open on September 30 and runs until October 4.
